It’s not easy to show skin tastefully during the summer months, so you can imagine how much harder it is to bare skin at a semi-formal event. Thankfully, this week’s best-dressed celebs are here to guide you. Being the pros that they are, they’ve got the skill down pat (well, at least their stylists do).

A strapless dress is obviously one way to keep cool, but Alicia Vikander adds a nice spin to it by working a midriff cut-out, too, as a classy alternative to the crop top. Beyoncé’s little white Self-Portrait dress is another winning option for those who like to keep it conservative and flirty at the same time. But if you’re looking for some evening gown inspo, Margot Robbie and Kate Hudson are your ladies. While Robbie worked a sleeveless Miu Miu gown, featuring a keyhole neckline and high slit, Hudson graced us with her presence in an ice blue Fendi gown with side cut-outs.

On a whole other note, Céline Dion is officially the best-dressed star at Paris Couture Week. Here we were thinking she couldn’t possibly outdo herself again, but the Canadian songstress stepped out of her hotel in a Vetements Titanic hoodie featuring Jack and Rose, because there’s no better way to pay homage to “My Heart Will Go On.” What a way to say adieu to Paris, Céline.
