While November witnessed our favorites celebrities sporting a great deal of dark-hued ensembles on the red carpet, December seems to have a little more colour in store. Leading the pack of best dressed this week was Taylor Swift who rocked a Sachin & Babi printed dress at the Jingle Bell Ball in London, England, as well as Jessica Chastain, who attended the New York premiere of A Most Violent Year, looking flawless in a red wrap gown by Giorgio Armani. Following closely behind was Freida Pinto, who wore an bright orange dress by Michelle Mason on the red carpet, as well as Lily Collins who sported a bright tangerine gown by Aussie designer Maticeski at the premiere of Love, Rosie. Also opting for orange was Olivia Palermo who wore it in the form of a thigh-high slit skirt which she paired with a tuxedo jacket to the Monica Vinader store opening in London.
Other standout looks of the week include Nicole Richie’s floral Spring 2015 Vera Wang dress that she wore to the Fashion Footwear Association of New York Awards, as well as Rose Byrne’s embroidered SS15 Mary Kantrantzou mini dress, which she wore to the premiere of Annie in New York City. Rounding up the weekend at Art Basel Miami Beach, we loved model Toni Garrn’s embellished mini dress and Jourdan Dunn’s aquamarine two piece she paired with Sophia Webster heels. While the colour of the week seemed to entail a mix between red and orange (rorange?), we can’t wait to see which colour our fave celebs will be donning for the next roll of events this holiday season.
