When two fashion powerhouses join forces, great things are bound to happen. The Cara Delevingne for Topshop fall campaign was released this morning, and like the model herself, it’s equal parts brooding, sultry and playful. Channeling fellow Topshop girl and British fashion icon, Kate Moss, the twelve shots feature Delevingne in all of the ingredients required to make a Brit It Girl: leather, fur, a guitar and a mean mug.

This is the first time any model has fronted a Topshop campaign solo, but we can’t think of anyone better for the job. The model truly embodies the spirit of the brand with her uniquely quirky persona and impossible-to-forget face. The Cara Delevingne for Topshop campaign was styled by Topshop’s creative director, and former Vogue fashion editor, Kate Phelan and shot by photographer Alasdair McLellan. “Cara is a true Topshop girl. Her style is confident and playful and she can be sophisticated and chic as easily as she can be cool and casual,” said Phelan. “Putting her spin on everything she makes the Topshop collection her own. Her uninhibited natural energy is intoxicating, she is free spirited and fun.”

Topshop also released a behind-the-scenes video, where we learned that the shoot was the meeting place of the British supermodel and her now-famous rabbit, Cecil. The more you know. Check out the twelve Cara Delevingne for Topshop campaign images below, as well as the hilarious behind-the-scenes video.
