Cannes 2017: The Best-Dressed Celebrities on the Film Festival’s Red Carpet

The biggest stars from all over the world flew into the Côte d’Azur to attend the 70th Annual buzziest Cannes Film Festival. Having just glanced at the program line-up, we’re already dubbing this year the biggest one yet.

Festival regulars Jessica Chastain and Fan Bingbing are on this year’s jury panel and with their red carpet track records, you know it’s going to be good. Elle Fanning is also no stranger to the Cannes red carpet, but with her new title as L’Oréal Paris’ ambassador, all eyes are on the young starlet. After touching down in Cannes in a chic Miu Miu outfit, Fanning has wowed in a bespoke strapless Vivienne Westwood gown, a feathery Prada number and a gorgeous floral Dior dress that is fit for a princess.

A Cannes Film Festival isn’t complete without a posse of the most glamorous actresses in the industry ascending those famous steps. Speaking of the L’Oréal family, red carpet veteran Julianne Moore surprised us in a red, feathered evening look, while Susan Sarandon looked mighty hot in an off-the-shoulder green velvet dress at the Opening Gala. Too early to call her the Queen of Cannes? We don’t think so.

Meanwhile, Insta-babes Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski caused a photographer frenzy with their blush-toned dresses at the Ismael’s Ghosts screening and Opening Gala. As for Kendall Jenner, she’s been breaking rules and setting new trends on the red carpet, from wearing socks with sandals to pairing denim shorts with a ball gown.

With the film festival stretching over a period of 12 days in the French Riviera, you can bet it was one big sartorial fest. From this year’s Best Actress Award winner Diane Kruger to Indian superstar Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, here are the best-dressed celebs at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.
