There’s nothing that elicits my personal glee quite like an ‘80s fashion revival and that’s exactly what’s happening in bridal fashion for Fall 2018. New York Bridal Fashion Week (#NYBFW) just wrapped—the closing act of global fashion season—and the big news is the influence of the era of excess has now reached wedding dresses, but in a pretty, modern, refined way. There were bows, puffy sleeves and peplums aplenty from designers including Victor & Rolf, Inbal Dror, Galia Lahav and Naeem Khan, as well as fresh spins on lace, tulle and OTT beading.
Here are the eight emerging trends firmly on our radar.

The New Bohemian Galia Lahav present this trend most beautifully. Forget crochet and bell sleeves; instead think billowy off-the-shoulder necklines and luxe laces.
