Beth Richards launches a sizzling Canadian swimwear collab with blogger The Haute Pursuit

Swimwear has come a long way since the days of Laguna Beach-esque neon bikinis, but despite the efforts of many summer-focused labels, there’s still a serious lack of stylish---yet water-friendly---attire. That’s where Toronto-born designer Beth Richards and Vancouver-based fashion blogger Vanessa Hong step in. Their new collaboration, Beth Richards X The Haute Pursuit, has resulted in a 6-piece capsule collection, with products ranging from $110 to $265. Two of the pieces are established cult classics by Richards, while the other four are new designs.

Because these two ladies are both minimalists by nature, the line doesn’t feel like two different aesthetics forcing themselves onto each other (which can be hard to find when it comes to collabs). The pieces can be mixed and matched effortlessly and can transition from day to night. Our favourites are the mesh-sleeved Cara top, which can take you from sand to music festival, and the Wrap Top, which looks like something a modern-day Khaleesi might wear to the beach.
