How do you reinvent an icon? With a fun capsule collection, of course! Stella McCartney’s Elyse platform shoe turns 10 this year (they grow up so fast) and to mark the occasion, the British fashion brand known for pioneering conscious luxury has dropped a limited-edition capsule of monochromatic styles, available in tone-on-tone black, red, white and all-over lead-free crystal.

To fête Elyse’s big birthday, Stella McCartney shot their new campaign at London’s Kew Gardens alongside the ‘Light to Life’ exhibition by British artist Marc Quinn. According to the brand, Quinn’s installation, which they describe in a press release as a “sculptural celebration of sunlight and plants as the roots of life on Earth, with reflective pieces reminding us that we are in nature and at one with it” is aligned with Stella’s vision for the Elyse, “using plant-based and cruelty-free alternatives to protect Mother Earth and our fellow creatures.” We love when style meets substance.
