Lately, it seems like not a month goes by without hearing something cool about Waris Ahluwalia. The actor, designer and bearded bon vivant has been in Toronto all summer long filming Deepa Mehta’s new movie Beeba Boys, while launching a sunglasses collaboration with New York-based label, Morgenthal Frederics. The capsule collection of 10 handcrafted buffalo horn frames, available for the bargain basement price of $2,195, is available on his site, houseofwaris.com, and has become his own personal favourite as of late. “They’re so light and very useful for when we finish filming at 6 a.m,” he says. Obviously curious as to what else Ahluwalia considers essential while spending time in our hometown, we had a peek through his tote in our nosy latest edition of “What’s in your bag?

Bag Waris Ahluwalia

Most of my summer has been spent in Toronto filming Deepa Mehta’s new movie Beeba Boys. This Pacific Tote Co. bag, made in California, is perfect for my on set bag. It holds everything I need. I don’t think I could use another tote after this.
