Electro-pop trio Chairlift have teamed up with Marc by Marc Jacobs in association with for the Fall 2009 collection in a video series featuring the band as Brooklyn hipsters-turned-models. [@knotpr] The September Issue opened this weekend in New York, grossing $240,078 in a mere six theatres and making it the fifth-best documentary debut in history. Scott Schuman aka The Sartorialist has snapped a trend-abiding homeless man. Whether or not the man in question is aware of how stylish his colour coordinations are remains unclear, but Schumann writes, “This shot isn’t about fashion — but about someone who hasn’t lost his need to communicate and express himself through style.” [The Sartorialist]
