The luxury resale movement took centre stage once again at the second annual Angels Wear Preloved show, a one-day shopping event that turned The Warehouse event venue in Toronto into a treasure trove of timeless fashion finds. Proudly presented by FASHION Magazine, and dreamed up by Amy Polevoy the show gathered nearly 40 resale boutiques from across the country for what has quickly become one of Canada’s most anticipated preloved fashion events.
The energy was nothing short of electric. DJ Erick B kept the crowd moving with a feel-good soundtrack that carried the event from morning till afternoon, creating the perfect backdrop for a day of discovery. Everywhere you turned, there was a hidden gem waiting to be unearthed—from vintage Chanel and Hermès scarves to pristine Dior handbags and rare archival pieces from Canadian labels.

Shoppers came ready to buy, and vendors came ready to impress. By the end of the day, many boutiques were packing up with lighter racks and big smiles, a testament to both the turnout and the appetite for secondhand luxury. The mix of vendors was diverse yet well-curated, striking a balance between established players and fresh new names.
Among those high-impact newcomers to Angels Wear Preloved were Fashionably Yours, VSP, Luxe Du Jour, Emi AuthLux and Oakville Consignment. Each brought a distinctive edit of covetable pieces that embodied the spirit of sustainable luxury.

In true fashion form, photographer George Pimentel was on-site to capture the day’s stylish attendees at the step-and-repeat, giving the show a red-carpet flair. Later, Josie Cipriano continued documenting the scene, ensuring that every standout look had its moment. The crowd did not disappoint: effortlessly chic ensembles, statement accessories and a sense of community that extended well beyond the racks.
What set Angels Wear Preloved apart this year was its scale and reach. Vendors travelled from across Canada to take part—Bags for Breakfast came from Vancouver, Preloved & Luxe from Halifax and powerhouse boutique Luxe du Jour from Calgary—underscoring the event’s growing momentum. Beyond being a shopping event, it was a celebration of circular fashion and a more mindful, connected way to engage with style.
With its impressive turnout, vibrant atmosphere and an ever-expanding roster of boutiques, Angels Wear Preloved has proven that sustainable style is more than a passing trend—it’s the future of fashion retail that’s just getting started.
