Jordan, Timothée Chalamet, Jessie Buckley, Renate Reinsve and Emma Stone—all nominees for tonight’s top acting honours—turned heads on the red carpet. Discover the must-see looks from the 2026 Oscars red carpet ahead.

Trading his signature beard for a barely-there stubble, the Last of Us star cut a sharp figure in black trousers and a crisp white button-up Chanel look via Matthieu Blazy. And of course, the best part is the statement flower brooch that makes the fit sing. It’s giving old Hollywood. It’s giving a romantic lead. It’s giving, I’m meant to be at the Oscars.

Goldie Hawn Kate Hudson in Armani Privé

The mother-daughter duo brought glittering glam. Best Actress nominee for Song Sung Blue, Hudson’s aquamarine blue dress featured a mermaid silhouette and was encrusted with glittering gems, crystals, and stones. The star of the outfit though, was the Garatti necklace with 41 carats worth of rare green diamonds. Goldie Hawn complemented her daughter’s look with a sparkling black halter gown and matching opera gloves.

The best actor nominee and Sinners star showed up to the Oscars doing exactly what he does all award season, making it look completely easy. The all-black look, structured like a Chinese Tang suit finished with a silver chain clipped at the side. No theatrics, the look was sharp and considered.

Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton

A two-time Oscar winner (also nominated for Bugonia) still showed up to the carpet like she has something to prove—and we love her for it. The square-neck off-white shimmering Louis Vuitton gown, with its liquid-like beading and cap sleeves, pulls off the impossible trick of feeling both timeless and completely of-the-moment. Reposi studs, a sleek side-parted bob and zero desire to overcomplicate things allow’s this look to shine. This is what a decade of being a Louis Vuitton ambassador looks like, locked in and immaculate.

Anne Hathaway in Valentino

When you have a movie as buzzy as the Devil Wears Prada sequel to promote, you show up to the Oscars in floral Valentino—a nice nod to the first film, which gave us such memorable lines as “Florals for Spring. Groundbreaking” and “I refuse to be sick. I’m wearing Valentino for crying out loud.”

Gwyneth Paltrow in Armani Privé and Tiffany & Co.

Eleven years away from the Oscars carpet and Gwyneth Paltrow returns like she never left. The Marty Supreme star chose a custom Giorgio Armani Privé ivory silk strapless gown—the sheer panels down each side adding just enough edge to keep it from being too safe. Simple, but devastatingly perfect. A far cry from that bubblegum pink Ralph Lauren taffeta moment in 1999 that literally put pink back into fashion. Similar energy, just more effortless and confident.

Snubbed for his Hamnet performance (we’re still not over it), Mescal showed up to present at the Oscars in Céline, bringing his trademark quiet cool that makes everything he wear look completely effortless.

Timothée Chalamet in Givenchy

No stranger to creating memorable Oscars fashion moments (we’re still not over the sparkly Louis Vuitton look he wore back in 2022), the Best Actor nominee for Marty Supreme decided on an all-cream double-breasted Givenchy suit finished with a simple pin and a handful of rings. One missing element? His date, Kylie Jenner, who did not walk on the carpet with Chalamet.

Kirsten Dunst in Celine

Attending to support her husband Jesse Plemmons (whose film Bugonia is a Best Picture nominee) Kristen continued her streak of silhouette-forward black dresses (she wore a backless Tom Ford number with a similar vibe to the Actor Awards a few weeks ago). This tiered geometric gown is by Celine, accompanied by her signature minimalist makeup and updo.

Demi Moore in Gucci

This time last year, Demi Moore was on the Oscars red carpet as a Best Actress nominee in head-to-toe silver sequins. Tonight she’s back as a presenter—but that doesn’t mean she phoned it in. The Landman star traded sequins for peacock-inspired Gucci feathers, fanning out atop a cinched bodice. Though we wished she wore her chic wet bob look from the Gucci show in Paris last week, the sculptural and dramatic gown is a stand-alone show-stopper. Let’s give it up to her long-time stylist (and Canada’s very own) Brad Goreski.

Odessa A’zion in Valentino

The Marty Supreme star showed up to the Oscars and fully embraced her inner rockstar—and we’re eagerly waiting for the album to drop. That all-black Valentino ensemble featured a wrap jacket in a subtle floral pattern with a plunging neckline, rhinestone embroidery and a long velvet skirt with metallic flower details along her hip. The details are what make this look really sing: gem-encrusted chains, a black ribbon choker, and custom lab-grown Pandora necklaces totalling 148 stones and 54.95 carats. This is red carpet dressing with a serious attitude.

The One Battle After Another star and best supporting actress nominee stuns in a textured black-and-white Chanel gown. The star has spoken about her deep love of fashion, and though she doesn’t have a single go-to stylist, she often works with the power duo Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, with plenty of her own input.

Jeremy Pope in Ami Paris

Actor and singer Jeremy Pope’s white tux was created by the elevated contemporary Ami Paris. The asymmetrically tied bowtie was the perfect accent to the oversized satin lapels, along with two sparkling brooches. The ’70s-style flared trousers lent the look just the right amount of cool.

Audrey Nuna in Thom Browne

For someone with a song called “Golden,” Audrey Nuna had us waiting all season. But we’ll admit: This golden look was worth the wait. The KPop Demon Hunters singer arrived in a custom Thom Browne high-neck jacket dripping in gold beading, paired with a voluminous ball skirt that felt equal parts armour and fairytale. The connection runs deep, too. Thom Browne was one of the first orders Nuna’s immigrant grandfather fulfilled in the garment industry. She and stylist Danyul Brown deliberately saved gold for tonight, where she’ll perform her Oscar-nominated song alongside Ejae and Rei Ami.

Nicole Kidman, who arguably started the trend for couture red carpet dressing many moons ago, arrived at the 2026 Oscars as a presenter and reminded everyone why she owns this carpet. Cinched in Chanel by Matthieu Blazy, the Australian icon was completely and effortlessly herself.

Lewis Pullman in Saint Laurent

Lewis Pullman delivered a subtle take on print on print in full Saint Laurent. Stripes were the common thread tying his button-down, silk tie and sharp trousers. To bring the look together, the actor opted for a classic black blazer.

Li Jun Li in Gaurav Gupta, Jimmy Choo and Fope jewellery

Making her Oscars red carpet debut following her breakout role in Sinners, Li Jun Li did come to play. Her sculptural, strapless Gaurav Gupta gown—featuring cascading pleats, a dramatic swirling train and the most fearless shade of crimson—is an undisputed winner. She embellished with Fope jewellery and grounded her look with Jimmy Choo heels. This is a first impression that doesn’t just match the red carpet—it owns it.

Jessie Buckley in Chanel

Jessie Buckley’s red carpet style has been evolving before the public eye. During the Hamnet press tour, she leaned into modest, minimalist ensembles. In recent weeks, she’s started playing with sheer fabric and fringe while promoting The Bride!. Tonight on the red carpet, she brings a new energy with a draped two-toned Chanel gown inspired by Grace Kelly’s 1956 Oscars dress.

The Euphoria star showed up to the Oscars in a Gap Studio by Zac Posen cobalt-blue (the unofficial colour of the year) moiré ball gown—and honestly? We haven’t recovered. Corseted, peplum-detailed and draped in the most electric blue we’ve seen all season. Also, it’s by GAP? Zac Posen is changing the game and we’re here for it.

Misty Copeland in David Koma and Jared Atelier jewellery

Regardless of Timothée Chalamet’s take, we don’t need proof that ballet is still relevant, but Misty Copeland will prove it anyway. The ballerina is set to perform in the Sinners tribute alongside Miles Caton and Rapahel Saadiq. On the 2026 Oscars red carpet, Copeland sported a tutu-inspired David Koma blazer, minimalist column skirt and a 27-carat diamond ring from Jared Atelier.

Rose Byrne in Dior

The Best Actress nominee’s Dior features a striking strapless neckline and dramatic flower embroidery, taking the standard black gown into interesting territory.

Nominated for her performance in Sentimental Value, Renate Reinsve’s Oscar fate hangs in the balance tonight. But as far as we’re concerned, this head-turning Louis Vuitton number—with its dramatic thigh-high slit and floor-skimming train—is a winner.

Hudson Williams in Balenciaga and Bulgari

In case you needed a reminder, Hudson Williams is officially a Balenciaga boy. The Heated Rivalry star arrived on the 2026 Oscars red carpet in a head-to-toe look from the fashion house, topped off with Bulgari jewellery.

Never one to scrimp on accessorizing, he finished the look with a vintage 16-carat diamond brooch by Briony Raymond, a diamond-encrusted watch and pearl earrings.
