Since its beginnings in 1872, Shiseido has led the charge when it comes to innovation and cutting-edge science in beauty, and the new Future Solution LX line is an illustration of this.

At the forefront of the range is the brand’s exclusive LonGenevity Complex™, which helps to improve barrier function and results in plumper, brighter and smoother skin. After more than 40 years of genetic testing, experts at Shiseido found that this very ingredient was the key to expressing CCN2, the gene responsible for beautiful skin. It’s a proprietary superstar, powered by the legendary Enmei herb cultivated on Japan’s Mount Ibuki.
Other key ingredients include sakura blossom flower extract, Shiseido’s proprietary 4MSK and licorice extract, among others.
It pays homage to traditional Japanese culture and art
The art of longevity and the preservation of beauty are key to the Japanese way of life. In a nod to these ideas, Future Solution LX’s packaging incorporates traditional craftsmanship and centuries-old Japanese techniques.
Encased in each product lid is a swatch of treasured Nishijin textile. This woven fabric, developed 1,200 years ago and native to Kyoto, employs intricate weaving techniques and can take more than 20 steps to complete.

Additionally, the Future Solution LX Total Regenerating Cream includes a delicate tray crafted out of special tatamiberi fabric. This decorative edging cloth, which dates back more than 1,300 years, is traditionally used to reinforce the sides of Japanese tatami mats.
