SHEIN Launches an Exclusive Collection with Inuvialuk Activist Marika Sila
Global fashion e-retailer SHEIN is answering the call for sustainable shopping at affordable prices.
SHEIN, the global fashion e-retailer known for its on-trend and affordable styles has partnered with Marika Sila, the dynamic Inuvialuk actress and activist, to bring us a collection that’s as meaningful as it is stylish. Launched on May 31 to coincide with National Indigenous History Month in Canada, the SHEIN x Marika Sila Collection offers a stylish array of women’s apparel that captures the spirit of resilience and optimism.
Empowering individuals to express their unique identities with confidence and make a positive impact, this curated collection is built on three pillars: style, strength and sustainability. Featuring stylish pieces from GLOWMODE activewear and eco-conscious creations from evoluSHEIN by Design, this collection uses production techniques and materials with a lower environmental impact, such as forest-safe viscose fibres and recycled content for both garments and packaging. Plus, 10 per cent of proceeds from sales made until June 30 will be donated to a Canadian non-profit organization focused on giving back to the Indigenous community. Shoppers can also use the code MS at checkout for an extra 15 per cent off from now until June 30.
