Another day, another Jenner launching their empire. On December 3 it was announced that Kirby Jenner has landed his own show on Quibi, the phone-only streaming network set to launch on April 6, 2020. Never heard of Kirby? You’re not alone. He’s the “fraternal twin” of supermodel Kendall Jenner, and before you get all riled up thinking this is some sort of Cinderella situation—no, he has not been sequestered away in the basement of Kris’s Calabasas mega mansion—it’s important to point out that Kirby isn’t actually a Jenner. But he likes to pretend he is online.

Since at least 2015, the social media maven has built a following on Instagram as the “twin” to Kendall, photoshopping himself into truly iconic photos of the famous fam, and we honestly wish this was a real thing.

Here’s everything to know about Kirby Jenner and his latest money-making venture—move over Kylie, Kris Jenner offish has another kash kow.

Who is Kirby Jenner, really?

The newest addition to the KarJenner fam (you know, besides Stormi), is surrounded by just as much mystery as that tiny tot’s gestation and birth. The Jenner-wannabe, who refers to himself as an “amateur model, lover of all things and fraternal twin of Kendall Jenner,” has been making his mark on the inter-webs since at least 2015, when he took to Instagram in a parody account. Since then, Kirby has been making appearances alongside (a.k.a. photoshopping himself expertly into photos with) Kendall as her lesser-known, sheltered and kind of confused twin bro. The duo have done *everything* together, from walking the carpet at the 2019 Met Gala

Haters will say it’s photoshop, and it 100% is, but it’s done incredibly well. The clothing! The accurate lighting! The glazed-over look of indifference!

Can you believe that this isn’t actually an image from the IRL photo shoot? I, for one, cannot. And neither can Kirby’s 1.2 million Instagram followers.

What are fraternal twins?

For those wondering (or those of us who checked out of science at Grade 10, no judgment) fraternal twins result from the fertilization of two separate eggs during the same pregnancy. As opposed to identical twins, who are fertilized in the same egg by one sperm and then split, fraternal twins are fertilized in two separate eggs by separate sperm. Like other siblings, fraternal twins only share half their DNA and can be different genders. Think, less Benji and Joel Madden (identical) and more Scarlett and Hunter Johansson (fraternal).

Does Kendall Jenner *really* have a twin brother named Kirby?

As far as we know, no. But Kris does have a pretty big house and *lots* of children. Is there the potential that one got lost as a baby, crawling around her palatial home and has spent the past 20+ years living in one of the family’s massive garages, unable to find their way out? Or maybe, just maybe, like his elder brother Rob, maybe a real twin just prefers a life out of the spotlight?

We’ll never know.

So what is Kirby Jenner’s show about?

But one thing we do know? Kirby’s show is going to be seriously hilarious. Per Cosmopolitan, Kirby Jenner is set to be a parody reality show highlighting the life of Kendall’s lesser-known twin, who finally has his turn in the spotlight. The show will reportedly feature appearances from Kim, Khloé, Kourtney and Kylie (maybe playing Kanye’s infamous dictionary game?).

It sounds similar-ish to the Flight of the Conchords series (RIP) or Summer Heights High, which we are 100% here for.

And TBQH, the show couldn’t be more timely. It only makes sense that, were Kirby and Kendall actually twins, 2020 would be his time to shine. With the now-defunct Victoria’s Secret fashion show leaving Kenny without at least one high-profile job, now *would* be the time for Kris to introduce the world to her long-lost twin.

OK, and what exactly is Quibi?

And of course, as with all Kardashian-Jenner family members, Kirby is making his name on the silver screen—but doing it a little differently. Just like Kirby, you may have heard the name Quibi pinging around the ether over the past few months. The soon-to-be-launched entity is a mobile-centric, short-form streaming-video platform (meaning you watch via an app on your phone) founded by Disney and DreamWorks chief Jeffrey Katzenberg.

Unlike many streaming platforms, the main diff with Quibi is the length of episodes, with episodes for Quibi shows running between seven to 10 minutes in length. Set to launch in April 2020, the platform has already secured tons of big names for both scripted and unscripted content, including Chrissy Teigen, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Spielberg.

The future is now, folks!

And what does Kendall Jenner think of the whole Kirby Jenner thing?

So what does Kendall herself think of Kirby’s newfound fame and success? By all accounts, it seems like she loves it. The model frequently engages with Kirby online, even commenting on his Quibi announcement and sharing his post to her own Instagram story.

“YESSS!!! proud of you,” the model commented on Kirby’s announcement.

And, according to CNN, the series will be produced by none other than Kendall herself (alongside, momager Kris). In a statement about the announcement, Kendall said of the series: “I’m thrilled that Quibi viewers will get an inside look at the life of my twin brother and he’ll finally have the opportunity to shine in this series.” So, we’d definitely say they’re no faux-sibling rivalry here.

We stan a close brotherly-sisterly bond. (And Rob could seriously take a hint).

So, should I follow Kirby Jenner?

100% yes. Come for the stunning images of Kendall, stay for Kirby flipping audiences the literal bird alongside matriarch Kris.
