Is Zooey Deschanel Dating Jonathan Scott of the Property Brothers?

It seems there’s a New Girl in Jonathan Scott’s life. (Sorry, had to.) Over the weekend, the HGTV star was spotted holding hands with Zoeey Deschanel in Silver Lake, California as they reportedly walked to dinner at Little Dom’s restaurant.

A “source” reportedly told Hollywood Life, who published the photographs of the pair, that the relationship was “pretty new still,” adding that “They seem to like each other a lot and Jonathan travels a lot, but they see one another when they can.”

The two met last month when the Property Brothers appeared on an episode of Carpool Karaoke with the Deschanel sisters, Zooey and Emily. If social media is anything to go by, they seem to have had a blast.

In an Instagram post dated August 5, Scott posted a series of pictures of the four of them with the caption, “Met some new humans today. We had fun. I think I’ll keep them.”

Deschanel, meanwhile, took to Twitter with a Boomerang of her and Scott goofing around, tweeting, “One of us was very excited about taping Carpool Karaoke. Maybe two of us.”

In the roughly six weeks since, Deschanel has announced her split from her husband of four years, Jacob Pechenik (a split that an “insider” told Hollywood Life has been “several months” in the making). The two released a joint statement to People saying, “After much discussion and a long period of contemplation we have decided we are better off as friends, business partners and co-parents rather than life partners.”

And then last week, Scott—whose last public relationship, with Jacinta Kuznetsov, ended in April 2018—told Us Weekly that he’s “seeing someone.”

“I’m a very private person, so I don’t typically talk about that. It’s definitely special for me because I am the guy who raises the bar in what I’m looking for in a partner. I was caught a little off guard. It was definitely a pleasant surprise.”
