Reese Witherspoon is venturing into new territory with her new film (which is based on the book by renowned author Nick Hornby), playing a recovering heroin addict, but on last night’s red carpet for the TIFF 2014 premiere of Wild, she looked every bit the approachable-yet-glam Hollywood A-lister we know her as. Wearing a bold red lip and an asymmetrical Saint Laurent dress, Witherspoon shows off the magic of a non-basic LBD.

America’s Sweetheart is gracing us with her presence for not one, but two films this week. On the weekend, she premiered The Good Lie and opted for a darling purple Dolce & Gabbana mini-dress and nude makeup for that carpet, but we have to say we prefer Witherspoon when she flirts with more glam looks. She was joined on the red carpet by the film’s writer and director, as well as costar and fellow hottie, Laura Dern.
