It was another doozy of a night at the Grey Goose Soho House last night, with TIFF celebs upon TIFF celebs upon TIFF celebs showing up en masse to toast their various premieres, presentations and pals. As the official after party spot for Anna Karenina, Soho House’s first megawatt guest was Keira Knightley. Flawless in a black sheer lace-y floor-length Elie Saab gown, it was said that her every move was swanlike, and we believe it. Co-stars Jude Law and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (alongside his May-December love, director and photographer Sam Taylor-Wood) channelled their period costumes, both wearing three-piece suits. Though there isn’t photo evidence of Matthew MacFayden’s wears, we’ll have an imaginary vision of him in period-inspired attire as well. We’ll also imagine his Mr. Darcy coif intact.

To toast their film Imogene, Kristen Wiig (more on our epic meet-cute with her later), Natasha Lyonne, Darren Criss and Trudie Styler hit the spot as well. Wiig looked every bit the rock star girlfriend (not present: The StrokesFabrizio Moretti) in a shrunken black leather motorcycle jacket and a cobalt lace dress.

Also spotted sipping bubbly throughout the night: a laundry list of A-listers including Amy Adams (perfectly wrapped in a black bow Marchesa dress), Kate Hudson, Matt Damon, Harvey Weinstein and home-grown actresses Nina Dobrev and Katie Boland in matching scarlet dresses. But that’s not all: at 4am, we got a hot hot text alert from former market editor Jordan Porter: she’d just been asked for a sip from her drink from none other than True Blood babe-of-the-century Alexander Skarsgård. She obliged, which is much more than we can say for ourselves when we ummmmmed our way through our conversation with him at last year’s Melancholia party.
