The Weeknd’s New Video ‘Secrets’ Is All About A Love Triangle

Levitations, art deco and a mysterious love triangle. These are just a few of the things you’ll experience watching The Weeknd’s new video for Secrets.

Filmed in his hometown at various locations, including the University of Toronto Scarborough campus and the Toronto Reference Library, the video opens with a levitating model followed by a series of shots that reveal a secret love triangle featuring fellow Canadian artist Black Atlass as the “other man” and Canadian model Hannah Donker as the main love interest. (The Weeknd was rumoured to be in a little love triangle himself with Bella Hadid and current girlfriend Selena Gomez - but we won’t talk about that.) The video connects a series of scenes showing The Weeknd lurking in the shadows - unseen by his significant other - before ending with him staring up to a rising crucifix. So much mystery.
