Creative philanthropy meets luxury in Toronto’s arts and entertainment sphere. The Remix Project recently hosted ALL IN, a visionary approach to community action. Following a night of elaborate celebration marked by its Gatsby-style grandeur, the event raised funds for the Canadian non-profit organization.

There are few initiatives fostering talent to the scale of The Remix Project. Making a home for itself in the heart of downtown Toronto, the spacious multi-purpose loft is a dream come true for young creatives seeking to break into the industry. The Waterfront space includes a communal workspace, state-of-the-art recording studios, a photography studio, DJ lab, boardroom, and music production suite—the perfect setup for a jack of all trades.

Not only does The Remix Project have the space and the tools, but they provide a far more valuable asset: direct knowledge and training from experienced professionals. It has proven to be their strongest suit, providing inexperienced practitioners with clear direction toward achieving their artistic and entertainment pursuits. Built upon a strong value system and dedicated staff driven by impact, The Remix Project has it all.

Catriona Smart and her agency That Good put the community’s core values on display, delivered in a Vegas-esque package. Guests could be seen stepping into an immersive theatre spectacle; from magicians to casino games, and a speakeasy-inspired afterparty to follow, it was a night dressed head-to-toe in drama. Highlighted by live performances by JUNO Award-winning artist Savannah Ré and Remix alumna Michelle Hopkins, entertainment was the true star of the show. In proper fashion for the non-profit organization, every detail was finetuned for the creative eye.

Beyond its face value as a spectacular scene, Catriona and her team achieved record-breaking fundraising for The Remix Project. Publicist Jack-Malcolm Samedi gushed over the success of the event, recognizing it as “a testament to the power of community and our collective belief in creating real opportunities for the next generation.” With such promising success under its belt, creatives and entrepreneurs alike are eager to see how The Remix Project grows from here.
