Steve Carell Hilariously Responds to His New Silver Fox Title

ICYMI: Steve Carell is the hottest kid silver fox on the Hollywood block. Or at least that’s what the Internet has dubbed him.

The 54-year-old actor stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about his latest movie, Despicable Me 3, and, well, to address the latest headlines from Glamour, BuzzFeed and Harper’s Bazaar. But if you’ve seen the recent J.Crew catalogue-worthy photos of him walking around in London, you would agree.

The actor recently talked to ET at the L.A. premiere about the buzz surrounding his new look. “I am so sick of people just looking at me for my physical attributes,” says Carell. “It’s just genetic. There’s nothing I can do.” Of course, he couldn’t stop himself from laughing at his comments and added, “I’m busting with pride. That’s very nice.”

While the funny man is humble about his newfound title, when Fallon asked what it’s like to be part of the silver fox club (fyi, members include Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen), Carell nonchalantly played along.

“There’s a bracelet you get, and mine says Steve and on the other side of the bracelet it says ‘hunk of man meat,” he answers without breaking a sweat. “And you know what? My wife finally said she’s in love with me. I’m very excited.”
