In what may be the greatest Italian fashion house art collab since Miuccia Prada met Rem Koolhaas, Salvatore Ferragamo has partnered with the Musée du Louvre to produce the upcoming Leonardo da Vinci exhibition Saint Anne, Leonardo da Vinci’s Ultimate Masterpiece.

The house will present its Resort 2013 collection in the halls of the Louvre—a first for the museum—which has previously not allowed runway shows indoors. The exclusive event (but really, when is a Ferragamo show not exclusive?) will finish with a private dinner under the pyramid and a tour of the new exhibit. How Da Vinci Code!

For those who can’t make it to the fashion show, the exhibition will be open to the public from March 29 to June 25, 2012. And if the crowds for the show are anything like they are for the Mona Lisa, we recommend wearing very, very high heels.
