Royal wedding countdown: Day 22
In another chapter of cashing in on wedding memorabilia: we spotted an “official” wedding fragrance, one for both Kate and William, with super saccharine heart-shaped miniature lockets decorating the bottles.
Made to represent the essence of both Kate and William, the woman behind the creations, a German perfumer by the name of Kim Weisswange, says that, William’s scent is very masculine, strong and sporty, while Kate’s is a more floral fragrance with rose and magnolia. Would you expect any less?
Weisswange claims that the palace reached out to her, and has since spent nearly two months crafting the two scents⎯though this claim has been vehemently denied by the palace’s press reps, and seems a bit fishy to us. However, she does says that her creations are worn by Prince Charles, as well as Madonna, and that she was also commissioned to craft three fragrances for the Queen’s 80th birthday.
