It’s not exactly like they need it, but the Kardashian Klan is getting another moment in the spotlight as they kozy (sorry, we had to) up with Oprah for a much-hyped interview special. Oprah decided to pull out the big guns, flat-out asking them if they think they’d be famous if they weren’t “good-looking kids,” to which Rob Kardashian replied “they’re not like skinny women . . . they’re not models here.” Big sister Kim Kardashian swept in and took the reins, giving O a much more inspiring explanation:
“I don’t think it would happen if we were all skinny, pretty models. I think it has to do with us, the curves, the dark hair... I remember when there was the wave of Jennifer Lopez and Salma Hayek and these beautiful Hispanic women came into light and I looked up to them and I loved them but then I was like, where are Middle Eastern women, you know? I think we kind of took that category or helped to broaden that, so I think it’s just, in life, people just have ‘It,’ I can’t explain what it is.”
