Quotable: If you thought Valentino would be sitting on a bench feeding fish at this age (or even if you didnt), think again!

Yesterday, Valentino Garavani and business partner Giancarlo Giammetti launched the Valentino Garavani Virtual Museum with a press conference hosted by Anne Hathaway in New York. The museum, in form of free downloadable app, allows people who don’t normally to go to fashion shows or have access to couture, to see over 300 dresses up close from the designer’s 40-year career. Even though the duo have retired from the business, Giammetti promised that this project won’t be the last:

“If people thought that after Valentino and I stopped working that we would be sitting on a bench in Central Park and giving food to the fishes they better change their mind because we aren’t going to stop here.”
