Another royal wedding? The scoop on Pippa Middleton’s possible engagement
Is Pippa Middleton engaged to Nico Jackson? According to US Weekly, a wedding is indeed in the works for 2014. The tabloid claims to have the exclusive scoop from “sources” who say that Kate’s sister got engaged earlier this month and an official announcement is coming soon. However, because this is news coming from, well, US Weekly, we’re not entirely convinced. And neither is the Daily Mail, who report that a “source close to the Middleton sister” says that the rumours are completely untrue.
Pippa and Nico have been dating since late last year and have made their relationship quite public through a number of high profile engagements (such as the Sugarplum Ball, as pictured above on November 30). The US Weekly report says that Nico proposed to Pippa while they were vacationing at a 5-star resort in India: “It was exactly how he planned it – very romantic and grand!”
Yet: there’s no ring, no official announcement and no one willing to go on record saying that it’s true. (And sorry, we’re not sorry but if Pippa Middleton is engaged—and to a well-heeled financier, no less!—we want to see the ring.) So, your move Pippa. Make it official or we’ll assume that 2014 is going to be the year that the other royal sibling gets married. Hot, bushy-bearded Harry, we’re talking about you.
