Party all the time
On a chilly night, the Sexy in the City party steamed up the holiday scene on December 13. With other high-profile parties taking place the same night (such as the madly talked about CTV Holiday Christmas party), Sexy in the City, sponsored by Ford Models and L’Oréal, was the first stop of the night for many.
Among the smattering of male and female models were Canadian Idol judges Jake Gold, Farley Flex and Zack Werner, host and eTalk personality Ben Mulroney, Toronto naturopath Dr. Penny Kendall-Reid, model Monika Schnarre (with a very handsome mystery man), and Corner Gas actress Tara Spencer-Nairn, who knows how hectic the holiday season can get. The engaged-for-one-year actress travels across the country for the holidays. “We do Christmas Eve in Toronto with his family and on Christmas morning we get up and fly to Vancouver and have dinner with my parents.”
Songbirds Eva Avila, Divine Brown and Sarah Slean, who looked lovely in black Chanel, made an appearance, as did the man of the hour, Sex and the City’s Chris Noth, who joked around on the red carpet about “trying anything twice,” and actually took off his shoe for FASHION’s Amy Burstyn to find out what size he was wearing. The self-proclaimed environmentalist (he works with the Rainforest Action Network) was secretive about his holiday plans at first but later offered that he was “probably going to be in Los Angeles this Christmas for the first time.”
While there may not be a white Christmas in L.A. this year, enjoy your snow-filled holidays, kittens. Chat with you in the New Year!
