Almost three months after Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, Naomi Campbell is revealing she, too, was once the victim of a violent attack in the City of Light.

The 46-year-old supermodel recounted the story during an interview on The Wendy Williams Show Thursday, telling the host the incident occurred when she went to visit designer (and friend) Azzedine Alaïa, in 2012.

“I had taken a plane from Switzerland to Paris, which is like one hour. I didn’t call security — it was a quick trip,” the Empire actress explained. “I went to the car, and it wasn’t my normal driver. And it was weird because he had the window rolled down.… It was freezing cold in November. I was like, ‘Wait a minute! This is weird.’"

When she arrived at Alaïa’s home, that’s when things took a turn for the worse.

“They attacked me. They opened my car door and said, ‘Naomi Campbell, we’re going to kill you,’" she recalled.

Luckily, Alaïa’s store was just below his home, and shopkeepers came to the rescue.

“Thank God [the incident] was outside Azzedine Alaïa’s shop, because that’s where the entrance is to get into the house. [My friends] came out and saved me, basically.”

Campbell also told Williams she ran into Kardashian at Hermès two days before the 36-year-old reality TV star was bound, gagged and robbed at goinpoint.

“I very much sympathize with [Kardashian]. I felt for her right away. I hated hearing these stories that it wasn’t true. It was absolutely true, and it happened to me and it’s happened to a few other people that I’m not at liberty to say, but are well known also,” said Campbell.

She continued, “I like Kim a lot. She’s a very sweet person. In fact, all of them are very well mannered—very sweet, very polite. I’ve gotten to know Kim in the last few years, and she’s a really great girl.”
