MMVAs 2017: The Best Performances from Last Night’s Show

You know summer has officially kicked off when Canada’s biggest block party (a.k.a iHeartRadio MMVAs) closes down Toronto’s Queen Street for one whole weekend.

There were a lot of big winners at this year’s MMVAs, including former Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello and former One Directioner Niall Horan, who picked up their first awards (Best New International Artist for her and Fan Fave International Artist or Group for him) as solo artists. However, the biggest winners of the night were none other than A Tribe Called Red and Drake, who both picked up two awards. While the audience was sad to not see the city’s unofficial ambassador perform and receive awards (the Most Buzzworthy Canadian and the iHeartRadio Canadian Single of the Year for “One Dance”), fans were not disappointed by last night’s set list, which included everyone from MMVA co-host Joe Jonas and his band DNCE to the Arkells to Lorde, who aptly closed the show with a show-stopping performance.

So in case you didn’t catch last night’s award show, fret not. We’ve rounded up the best performances below.

Julia Michaels – Issues

Camila Cabello – ‘Crying in the Club’

Iggy Azalea – ‘Switch’

Niall Horan – ‘Slow Hands’ and ‘This Town’

DNCE – ‘Kissing Straingers’

Imagine Dragons – ‘Believer’ and ‘Thunder’

Arkells – ‘Knocking at the Door’
