Michael Bolton’s Super Sexy Valentine’s Day Special is All You Need Tonight
Michael Bolton is back, people. Sans curls and what not, but he’s back! And just in time for Valentine’s Day. Cue the baby-making music.
If there was ever a more appropriate time to tune in to Michael Bolton’s Super Sexy Valentine’s Day Special on Netflix, tonight is the night. The hour-long comedy/musical special, directed by Scott Aukerman (Comedy Bang! Bang!) and Akiva Schaffer (of The Lonely Island fame), follows the Grammy-award winning singer through a string of a wild (and legit OTT) events.
“If you’re not making love already, you will be soon,” Bolton proclaims in the most sultriest of voices (a.k.a. his actual voice) in the trailer for the special. Maya Rudolph, Sarah Silverman, Andy Samberg, Bob Saget and Brooke Shields also make guest appearances in the show.
The special marks the second time Bolton and Schaffer have joined forces, the first being in 2011 for The Lonely Island’s viral hit “Captain Jack Sparrow.”
“Some people were interested in us doing a Captain Jack Sparrow part two and we found a great home with Netflix,” Bolton explained during a Netflix panel last week at Hudson Mercantile in New York, adding that Netflix allowed them “a lot of freedom” with the program.
So whether you’re spending the night in with bae, flying solo in your PJs, or hanging out with your BFFs (Galentine’s, anyone?), you know what you’re watching tonight.
