Mandy Moore and Shane West Share the Cutest Throwback Photo for A Walk to Remember‘s 15th Anniversary

It may not be Throwback Thursday, but Mandy Moore and Shane West took us on a trip down memory lane with probably one of the best throwbacks ever in Instagram history. Earlier today, the co-stars celebrated A Walk to Remember‘s 15th anniversary (15!) with adorable stills from our fave coming-of-age film. Directed by Adam Shankman, the romantic and heart-wrenching drama was among the first of Nicholas Sparks’s book-to-movie adaptations.

Moore chose a photo of her character, Jamie Sullivan, and West’s character, Landon Carter, in a sweet embrace. In the caption, she wrote: “In honor of the 15th anniversary of A Walk To Remember, let’s take a walk down memory lane...” before asking her fans what their fave scenes were and if they had any questions. Naturally, it garnered over 85,000 likes and 6000+ comments in the span of a few hours, including “My fave scene was when he has you be in two places at once,” “the kiss under the stars” and “the best OST ever,” to name a few.

West was a bit more sentimental with his comment, thanking fans for their continued support and always putting a smile on his face.

“It seems it’s the 15th anniversary of the little engine that could....A Walk To Remember. Time flies ? Your love and support for this film will always put a smile on our faces. THANK YOU.”
