Kate Middleton spends Valentine’s Day alone, surrounded by her adoring fans

Well, it’s not only us regular single gals who are keeping busy on this day of love: Kate Middleton is also date-less on the couple’s first Valentine’s Day as a married duo. Will—who is on duty as an RAF search and rescue pilot in the Falklands—was sure to send his Valentine flowers and a card (aww!) while she took to Liverpool to continue charity work with Action on Addiction. The Duchess looked picturesque (as always) in a stunning chestnut-brown Hobbs flared coat that, as per protocol, has since sold out online. As she made her way to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Middleton was greeted by hundreds of fans bearing flowers and handmade cards as part of an apparent campaign to let her know she wasn’t alone on Valentine’s Day. (We’ll all just ignore the royal entourage that follows the Duchess wherever she goes.)
