Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge and queen of the high-low mix, was looking particularly cute last night in London, where she took part in the Place2Be Wellbeing Schools Awards. The organization, which the Duchess has been patron of since April of last year, provides in-school emotional support for 90,000 children, dealing with everything from bullying to bereavement. The first-ever awards celebrated everone from children to school leaders to parents and included a screening of this adorable video of children in uniforms singing.
But back to that bit about the high-low… For the event, the Duchess wore a black sheer polka dot top from high street label Hobbs, featuring a delicate (and conveniently bump-hiding) peplum, which she cinched with her Alexander McQueen wide belt. She paired it with a new piece from Jenny Packham, a teal satin weave full skirt. As per usual, she’s wearing Jimmy Choo pumps and a simple black suede clutch. The earrings, in focus with her pulled back half-do, are by Cassandra Goad and reportedly still available for purchase for a pretty penny.
