See Kate Middleton’s outfits from today’s appearance »
It may seem like Kate Middleton has been keeping her baby bump under the wraps with her impeccable coat game since the beginning of Royal Baby Watch #2. But today, the Duchess exposed her, err, developments, for all to see when she paid the Action for Children’s Cape Hill Children’s Centre a visit.
But let’s talk about that coat. For this morning’s engagement in her role as patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, Kate debuted a stunning new blue bespoke Max Mara coat (her second this week) at the Emma Bridgewater Factory, where she not only learned about a special pottery project in honour of the EACH Nook appeal, but got in on the arts and craft action herself as well.
After touring the factory, the Duchess made her way over to the children’s centre to attend a private roundtable discussion with families who were associated with the Action for Children services and the centre-based Sandwell Family Partners program, where she showed off The Bump in a waist-defining Seraphine printed dress. The Duchess elegantly finished off the look with her go-to accessories (blue suede Jimmy Choo pumps and matching coloured L.K. Bennett clutch) and styled her hair in a fuss-free knotted half up-do.
