Kate Middleton debuts a beautiful new maternity outfit in Kensington

Nothing cures a case of the Mondays like some Kate Middleton style news, as the Duchess of Cambridge was out and about today in the Kensington area of London for a series of public appearances.

Early this morning, Kate visited Family Friends, a volunteer organization that benefits underprivileged children and families of the borough. As has become the common refrain, she was to be presented with a bouquet of flowers by one of the organization’s toddlers. Today though, the toddler stopped short of his performance, citing an uncommon case of the nerves. His mother, of course, stepped in as helpful understudy.

Later, it was onto the Kensington Aldridge Academy, which the Duchess helped officially open in addition to the nearby Kensington Leisure Centre, a new building replacing the one where Prince William and Prince Harry had swimming lessons during school.

As per usual, Kate makes even the most ordinary day exciting, debuting a beautiful maternity getup in her signature shade. She wore new pieces by mainstay brand Seraphine: a powder blue empire waist pearl button coat and floral printed tea dress. (Both are from the label’s Spring 2015 collection, and available for pre-order next month, should you be in the market.) She also wore her navy Alexander McQueen pumps, alongside her Russell and Bromley clutch and Cartier Ballon Bleu watch, completing the look with her green amethyst Kiki McDonough drop earrings.
