Remember this day, everyone.

April 7, 2017 marks the debut of Harry Styles’ first solo single, “Sign of the Times,” and you can bet we (along with the Internet) are FREAKING OUT.

Since the dismantling of British boy band One Direction (RIP), we Directioners were all waiting for Harry to make his next move. He was, after all, the one we believed would kick off his solo career first (TBH, we figured he would ditch the band first, not Zayn Malik). But the 23-year-old heartthrob with the wondrous mane kept us all waiting (impatiently, we might add) for his imminent first single—until now. And guys, it’s good. Like, really good.

The almost-six minute (!!!) track, which premiered on British radio host Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 breakfast show, features a sombre piano intro and some angelic vocals from Mr. Styles before transitioning into a rock track. Many say it gives off David Bowie vibes, which is a pretty big deal.

And then there’s the lyrics: “Just stop your crying, it’s a sign of the times / Welcome to the final show, hope you’re wearing your best clothes / We could meet again somewhere, somewhere far away from here.”

Have you gotten the tissues out yet? Because Twitter sure has...

All in a day’s work for Harry Styles.

Now excuse us while we listen to the song for the 123213893209th time.
