Halle Berry Shuts Down Pregnancy Rumours in the Best Way Possible

Female celebrities are no stranger to faux pregnancy rumours. From Jennifer Aniston to Rihanna, many stars have been unfairly scrutinized because of unflattering paparazzi photos.

The latest celeb to be part of that club? Halle Berry. The Oscar-winning actress attended the annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles, on Sunday June 5, and walked the purple carpet in a Gosia Baczyńska Spring 2017 sequinned dress and matching metallic coat. While a Berry appearance is sure to draw lots of attention, it seemed like everyone’s eyes were directed specifically at her belly. With photos of her hands placed on her abdomen circulating fast on the Internet, many were quick to assume that the 51-year-old actress is pregnant with baby number three. (Berry has a three-year-old son, Maceo, with ex-husband Olivier Martinez, and a nine-year-old daughter, Nahla, with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.)

Berry addressed those pregnancy rumours with one Instagram photo and a flawless caption: “Can a girl have some steak and fries??" followed by an eye roll and a winky face emojis. Yes, Halle. Of course you can. No judgement here.

While the actress technically didn’t address the rumour in the captions, it’s pretty obvious what she was referring to. But for those who need it in writing, her rep told Page Six that “it is completely untrue. She is not pregnant.”
