Inside Grey Goose’s French Riviera-themed summer party on Toronto Island

Last week, Grey Goose proved that summer vacation is just a state of mind by bringing the essence of the French Riviera (read: bread and an adopted nautical dress code) to the Toronto Islands for one night only. The event, just one part of a worldwide series of “Boulangerie Bleue” pop ups, was set up to celebrate the launch of the brand’s latest cocktail, Le Grand Fizz, and featured a poolside party, a day of chef-curated meals and racks of delicious carbs for guests to grab as they were delivered back to the city by boat. Sure, you may ask: Is a cocktail launch reason enough for a party? But why ask questions, when you could just go?

The Boulangerie Bleue pop up will hit Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver later this month as part of a world tour including locations like Cannes and Moscow.
