Inside Greta Constantine’s annual summer party

A great designer is one thing. A great designer who can throw a great party? That’s quite another, and something Greta Constantine has become deservedly synonymous with.

Despite fall-like temperatures, Toronto’s glitterati took to the Yorkville home of Krystal Koo last night for one last kick at the poolside can—that, and of course, the debut of the Canadian label’s Spring 2016 collection. Throughout the evening, two models toured the party showing off the goods, and while you may have thought Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong’s latest collection of drop-dead eveningwear was the night’s focal point, there was plenty of eye candy competing for attention.

By the bar, two hard-abbed male models crushed wine grapes with their bare feet (much sexier than Lucille Ball’s technique). Elsewhere, a troupe of Opera Atelier singers treated the crowd to impromptu arias. And while high profile guests like Sarah Gadon, Jeanne Beker, Ben and Jessica MulroneyBonnie Brooks and Caillianne and Samantha Beckerman kept it classy for most of the evening, the last guests standing turned it way up with a late night dance session, complete with vogue off.
