On Tuesday afternoon, Gigi Hadid tweeted out a fan-made pic, which appeared to be a spliced image of herself and her younger sister, Bella Hadid.
Naturally, the Twitterverse and the Internet went wild over the supermodel sister duo’s resemblance, especially since the Moschino campaign stars are known for their contrasting looks. (Gigi, 21, is the all-American girl, while Bella, 20, has a darker, more edgy vibe.)
But it turns out, the image isn’t a side-by-side of the Hadid sisters, but rather a celebrity morph created by Instagram user @morphy_me that was posted last week.
“It’s not only a side by side, the face is the morph that i made yesterday, i just put gigi’s hair on the left and Bella’s hair on the right,” Morphy explained on Instagram, referring to a previous morph he made of the Hadids.
By contrast, here’s a real spliced image of Gigi and Bella:
Not quite as identical, we’d say.
Regardless, both the Hadid sisters are obviously #blessed with good genes.
