After all, it’s no coincidence that fashionable friends seem to flock together—good style begets good style, right? Audrey Hepburn and Hubert de Givenchy Behind one of fashion’s most iconic moments, there was an even more iconic friendship. Since the pair’s introduction in 1953 on the set of Hepburn’s film Sabrina (where Givenchy was actually expecting to meet the other, more famous Hepburn at the time, Katherine), the two became close friends, eventually collaborating on the LBD that launched a thousand impersonators, seen in the opening credits of Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
