An Evening of Empowerment at WeWork Canada’s First #SheLeads Event
In honour of International Women’s Day 2018, FASHION is proud to be the official media sponsor of WeWork Canada’s inaugural #SheLeads, a global initiative event series with the mission of advancing gender equality in the workplace. A first of many to come, the event in Toronto featured a panel discussion and networking with four female game changers, Ashlee Froese (Froese Law), Jessica Ching (Eve Medical), Krystyn Harrison (Hello Prosper), and Sarah Siu (Shopify), and was moderated by FASHION’s GM of advertising sales, Kelly Whitelock.
Guests started the evening with refreshments while they mingled and networked. As the panel discussion began, it became a platform to examine and discuss the game changers’ interpretations of success, living authentically, and navigating mentorship dynamics. After the inspiring panel, the floor opened to a Q&A that concluded with sage advice for attendees and empowered them to go forth and become game changers themselves.
