Despite rampant rumours of a budding romance, the Internet is now reporting that Drake and J.Lo are cooling off their new relationship. But according to PEOPLE, the duo can’t call “off” something that was never officially “on.” “It was never very serious,” an insider close to the rapper told People. “They like one another and had fun together.”

Sparks started flying in December of last year when the two musicians both posted matching Instagrams of themselves cuddled up on a couch. The speculation continued as the couple left a breadcrumb trail for fans, complete with prom-themed parties, lavish gifts, and caught-on-camera PDA.

The break-up rumours have surfaced just days after the 47-year-old “Booty” singer posted this cryptic Instagram quote.
