We’re not going to lie—we were feeling serious Thanksgiving FOMO last night as we scrolled through our Instagram feeds. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes…it’s hard not to want to rewind to a month ago when we had Thanksgiving north of the border.

I'm grateful for family, friends, laughter and a whole lot of love. Tonight as we talk about giving thanks let's remember that this country is our adoptive home. We are all descendants of immigrants, I am an immigrant so let's show those seeking solace in America compassion and send our thoughts over to Standing Rock to all the selfless people peacefully protesting in the name of protecting sacred land that was here so much longer than our family tree's they showed the first immigrants compassion let's show them their due respect and justice

#throwbackthursday and #thanksgiving all in one. This was our first Thanksgiving, and while we had a lot to be grateful for on that day, it doesn't compare to all that we have now.
