A primer on the celeb couples you need to know about, now that awards season is over
Award season has officially wrapped, so now that we’ve taken stock of the winners, the clothes and the productions, let’s evaluate the significant others on the red carpet that we noticed and can’t stop talking about.
A recent obsession around these parts is Helen Lasichanh (above), the model-designer wife of music mogul Pharrell Williams. Lasichanh stands out in a sea of significant others on the red carpet, partially because she’s 5 foot 9, but also because she knows her fashion audience so well and possesses the most aloof and enigmatic stare. Her Oscars dress (above) was demure but so suitable for the Oscars, kind of like strikingly appropriate Adidas bodysuit she wore to the 2015 Grammys. Lasichanh’s style and calm recall another impressive significant other, the late Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy who, for all her beauty and style, seemed detached from the interest heaped on her marriage.
