Brad Pitt’s GQ Style Spread Looks *Very* Similar to Harry Styles’s Shoot

Here’s something to ponder this afternoon: Why does Brad Pitt’s GQ Style photo shoot look so familiar?

Well, if you are a true Directioner and/or Harry Styles fan (like most of Twitter is), you’ll know that Mr. Styles himself posed for a similar shoot a few months earlier for Another Man. This Twitter user knows what’s up:

Here’s the thing: Both Pitt’s and Styles’s shoots were photographed by Ryan McGinley, which leads us to believe either a) McGinley has a certain ~*aesthetic*~ he’s trying to become known for, b) he really loved Harry’s shoot and wanted to do it again, or c) he’s run out of ideas.

But we digress. Let’s take a look at just how much these two photo shoots resemble each other.

First, the (maybe faux) tears:

Styles’s lyrics, “Just stop your crying it’s a sign of the times,” are just so very poignant at this moment.

Second, the natural landscape, with both men staring wistfully into the distance.

They’re even looking in the same one direction.

Third, the triple covers:

Though we have to say, Styles wins this round, with his different hairstyles.

And finally, the green sweater:

Yes, that is the exact same Prada sweater vest (!!!).

Coincidence? Perhaps. But at least Brad has this gem that’s totally original.
