Glamour was present at Beyoncé’s Belgrade show, where pearls, pearls, and more pearls garnished a custom-made Ralph & Russo bodysuit. The “Halo” songstress looked positively angelic as she opened the world tour in the all-white number. The ribbed one-piece, which featured military shoulders and layers of beads and sequins, looked both elegant and bold with it’s sharp tailoring.
Beyoncé’s “The Mrs. Carter Show” world tour has reached its halfway point, and with this milestone we’re looking back on some of the megastar’s most major fashion moments from her first 61 performances (44 to go!). As expected, the singer’s tour fashions have garnered just about as much attention as her performances have. A slew of privileged designers saw that the Beyoncé was outfitted in headline-worthy ensembles, and boy did they succeed. A particular golden armour-like one-piece by The Blonds had jaws dropping, as did a sexy midnight blue catsuit by Vrettos Vrettakos.
From Beyoncé’s diversified tour wardrobe one thing is clear: the woman loves her bodysuits. The mom-of-one’s been rocking these itty-bitty high-fashion leotards on stages everywhere from Belgrade to London to the Air Canada Centre right here in Toronto. With Pucci’s Peter Dundas and Gucci’s Frida Gianni among those in the musical icon’s design team, the glittering, feather-clad, pearl-adorned bodysuits are fit for, well, a queen. We’re reminiscing over some of our favourite bootylicious bodysuits worn by the legendary Mrs. Carter so far.
