Amy Schumer is in a Pregnancy Face-Off With Meghan Markle
On October 22, Amy Schumer took to Instagram to tease “some exciting news.” Given the fact that the photo she chose for this quasi-announcement was one of pregnant Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, with her own and her husband’s faces Photoshopped on top, we had a pretty decent idea of just what that news might be.
But leave it to Schumer to use the opportunity to encourage people to get out and vote before the US midterm elections on November 6. She directed her Instagram followers to visit journalist Jessica Yellin’s page, where a screenshot of her Notes app on “how to vote to flip the house” included this little tidbit:

Yep, she signed off with “I’m pregnant – Amy Schumer.”
Confirming the news to the LA Times on the heels of the Duke and Duchess’ pregnancy announcement last week, Schumer quipped, “Chris and I are thrilled and almost positive he’s the father. I look forward to competing with Markle every step of the way.”
Turns out she was serious about the competition, because yesterday she uploaded a photo on Instagram Stories of herself cradling a toilet, no doubt during a bout of morning sickness, along with the caption, “Today Markle is in Figi [sic] #same”.
We look forward to some more A-class comparisons as Markle’s and Schumer’s pregnancies progress in sync—sort of.
