There is so much to love about awards show season—the victory speeches, the fashion, the bling—but there’s something that makes us all warm and fuzzy when we see our fave celebs being supported in the midst of what seems to be a very stressful Hollywood moment. (If you watched the red carpet, you know that deer-in-headlights look that many celebs try to mask upon exiting their limos.)

During the lead-up to the 74th Golden Globes Awards ceremony, It couples (Chrissy Teigen and John Legend; Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds) were just as cute as those who brought along family members or BFFs (Michelle Williams and Busy Phillipps; Emma Stone and bro Spencer; and Blackish‘s Anthony Anderson and kids Kyra and Nathan). Oh, and let’s not forget the golden moment when Sarah Paulson and BFF Amanda Peet shared a friendly smooch.
