Calling all TV fans. The nominations for the 69th Annual Emmy Awards have finally been announced.

Live-streamed from Television Academy’s Wolf Theatre at the Saban Media Center in North Hollywood, Veep actress Anna Chlumsky and Criminal Minds star Shemar Moore did the honours and revealed this year’s hefty list of nominees on Thursday morning (July 13).

So who came out on top? Westworld and Saturday Night Live both earned 22 nominations, tying for the top spot with the most noms. New cult faves, Stranger Things and Big Little Lies didn’t do too shabby for their first year, picking up more than a handful of nominations (18 and 16, respectively). Meanwhile, it looks like comedy favourites Veep and Modern Family will once again be going head-to-head for the much-coveted outstanding comedy series win.

For the Game of Thrones fans out there wondering why the hit HBO show didn’t get a ticket, it’s because the sixth season didn’t air during the eligibility period for this year’s awards. The same holds true for the new Twin Peaks.

Hosted by Stephen Colbert, the 2017 Emmy Awards will be airing on September 17 at 8pm EST/5pm PDT. So mark your calendars, you don’t want to miss TV’s biggest showdown.
