As temperatures begin to spike, in time for the official start of summer, it’s hard to know what you should wear in the scorching sun.

But, let’s face it, after a long and arduous Toronto winter, the sudden shift in temperature is a welcome one. Heavy boots get traded in for effortless flats while bulky sweaters are replaced with breezy sundresses, as we happily switch out warmer pieces for more natural lightweight alternatives in linen, silk, and cotton. We’ll be the first to admit that finding the perfect outfit can feel like a chore, especially when there are so many variables to consider. Dresses or shorts? Air conditioning or not?
